Ahmed Elbiali returned to the ring against Andrew Hernandez, his toughest opponent yet, on January 12, 2016 on PBC on FS1.
Andrew Hernandez (10-4-1) was no pushover against the favorited Ahmed Elbiali (14-0, 11 KOs). Elbiali spent most of Round 1 stalking Hernandezm trying to put together small combinations, most of which Hernandez took well.These exchanges of power punches and counters being returned by both fighters continued throughout the remaining rounds.
Elbiali continued to set up strong combinations by putting the jab into use. Hernandez would take all that Elbiali threw at him and return with power of his own, landing a powerful left to the head of Elbiali as the third round came to an end.
Taking note of Elbiali's use of the jab, Hernandez started using the jab to set up control in the mid rounds. He stole a few rounds here
