The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Tuesday finally made its return trip to the United Arab Emirates official.
A heavyweight bout between Roy Nelson and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira headlines an April 11 UFC Fight Night card.
The promotions first trip to Abu Dhabi was UFC 112, which featured then UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva putting his belt on the line against Demian Maia, who is now a contender at welterweight. The fight took place in a venue on Yas Island that was constructed specifically for the UFC event and then dismantled following its conclusion.
UFC officials have yet to declare the venue for the April 11 event.
Each fighter is coming off of a loss heading into this five-round non-title fight.
Nelson (19-9) enters the fight having lost his last two bouts. Big Country dropped a decision loss to Stipe Miocic at UFC 161 last summer, and then found himself on the losing end of another decision, to Daniel Cormier, at UFC 166 in October.
Nogueira (34-8-1, 1 NC) has been sidelined for nearly a year, healing from an injury suffered in his last fight. In losing via armbar to No. 1 heavyweight contender Fabricio Werdum, Big Nog suffered a strained ligament in his arm.
