Alex Pereira vs Israel Adesanya II UFC 287 Miami Fight Video Full HD Free Stream Replay Part A

At UFC 287 on Saturday night in Miami, middleweight gold will be on the line as Alex Pereira competes against former champion Israel Adesanya to defend his belt for the first time.

At UFC 281 in November, Pereira defeated Adesanya after landing a left hook and swarming the champion for the fifth-round TKO victory while trailing on all scorecards.

Pereira won both kickboxing matchups and their UFC title match on Saturday's's tilt( ESPN+ pay-per-view, with main event walkouts at roughly 11:50 p.m. ET).

I'll'll analyze and forecast the fight card headliner below and use those details to place bets on the main match of UFC 287 between Adesanya and Pereira.

I like to review my evaluation before the fight and compare the odds to see how perceptions have changed whenever we get a UFC rematch.

Adesanya was projected as a 65.5% favorite(- 190 implied) in November, and I stated that I would have bet him based on opening odds of 170. In the end, I bet the fight would end at- 105, and I was disappointed when Adesanya didn't get to finish at the conclusion of Round 1.

But in the end, I was happy with the result. I did place a small bet on Pereira winning by KO/ TKO( projected+ 262, listed+ 275), and I mentioned that in my article.

I mentioned Adesanya's's difficulty facing an opponent at size parity prior to the fight, which was unusual for someone in his middleweight career. Adesanya had a 6.25-inch reach advantage before facing Pereira, and in his most recent four middleweight defenses, he was 4 inches taller.

Although Pereira is the same height as him and only has a one-inch difference in height, Poatan is also the larger man, having the middleweight torso and the heavyweight's's head, hands, and legs. He has a unique physique and wields the most potent force of any foe Adesanya has ever faced.

Adesanya is the better MMA fighter and the more technical striker.

He still has the grappling advantage in this matchup, and I'm'm interested to see if he shoots any more takedowns after getting one in the third round against Pereira, who had the most control time.

Izzy is a slightly better technician, but Pereira will exert pressure and manage the pace and distance of the proceedings.

In order to restrict Adesanya's's lateral movement and land another concussive left hook, he will constantly look to press forward and back against the cage.

Adesanya was in the same range and had similar problems throughout the fight even before the knockout. To get out of those positions relatively unscathed, he relied on excellent defense and head movement. Even so, Adesanya was cornered by Pereira's's pressure several times when it appeared that he could set up a scene.

The first fighter I've've ever seen who was prepared to kick alongside Adesanya was Pereira. Kickboxers operate in a similar manner to how fight analysts frequently advise that you need to jabber. Izzy, who is a flawless offensive kicker, didn't appreciate the harm Pereira caused to his legs.

He claimed that after the fight, it slowed him down and restricted his footwork, forcing him to constantly be backed into the octagon's's corner.

Except for the final 10 seconds of the opening frame, when Adesanya stole the round with a nearly knockout, three of Pereiera's's rounds appeared to be clear tossups given the optics of her pressure and power.

We might not have seen a rematch if the round had gone on for 10 seconds longer and Adesanya had knocked him out. Additionally, Adesanya would have defeated Pereira in MMA as well if he had scored the same knockdown against him as in their previous kickboxing match.

Variance is challenging; in their three fights, Adesanya has prevailed for the majority of minutes and, aside from the shot that rendered him completely unconscious, has likely delivered as many truly powerful blows as Pereira. Adesanya is 0 to 3 in those fights, though, because of timing and fight dynamics.

Indeed, that must eventually take a mental toll on Adesanya and give Pereira more confidence, but I also don't see how the minute will end up going so well for her despite previous scorecards.

Pereiera is tied 2– 2 or ahead in the fifth round of that fight if the final 10 seconds of Round 1 are eliminated or he flips one of the other 50/ 50 rounds his way. And we would have a completely different perspective on that finish and the final round.

The striking metrics were close and competitive aside from the third round, where Adesanya engaged in offensive wrestling, but Pereira consistently displayed superior optics( aggression and power).
