Seán Sheehan is back with another episode of “The Sheehan Show” as we look ahead to UFC 331, with the Octagon heading to Los Angeles for a huge night of action. There’s a fascinating title fight at the top of the card, some major names returning to action and plenty of fights that could have serious implications for the future of the UFC’s divisions.
We’ll start with the main event (1:32), as Joshua Van puts his UFC flyweight title on the line against Alexandre Pantoja in a rematch of one of the strangest championship fights we’ve seen in recent years. Van won the belt when Pantoja suffered an elbow injury just 26 seconds into their first meeting, but there was never any doubt that these two would have to run it back. Van has since defended his title against Tatsuro Taira, while Pantoja now gets the opportunity to prove that the first fight was a complete anomaly.
