The Baguio City native showed his improved ground game as he continuously wrestled his way out of dangerous positions and even managed to take his Japanese adversary’s back in the first round. Though, he did not manage to lock in a submission then, “The King” landed solid strikes, standing up and on the ground, to give the Team Lakay phenom a unanimous decision victory and punch his ticket into the Flyweight World Grand Prix.
