Amanda Nunes picked up a UD victory over Julianna Pena Saturday night to win their rematch and regain the bantamweight title at UFC 277.
Pena's ready for another one though.
Credit to Pena's toughness but it was an extremely one-sided fight and when someone loses 50-43 to a fighter, there's not that much of an appeal to run it back.
If they fought 10 times, maybe Pena wins 1, and she did win that one time in the 1st fight. You could look at it like they've fought 7 rounds and Pena won 1 of those rounds.
But maybe since there's such a lack of competition for Nunes that the UFC may consider a 3rd fight, or they may consider a trilogy between Nunes and Valentina
Shevchenko, Dana seemed somewhat interested in that and they've had a couple of close fight. But then again, a lot of people thought Valentina lost to Taila Santos in her last fight, and think a rematch between those two makes sense.
