Should a fighter really be punished for jumping on the cage after a victory? Daniel Cormier says let them celebrate. Chael sees it differently.
According to the account Chael discusses, multiple fighters had pay withheld after cage celebrations triggered action from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Chael's point isn't that fighters shouldn't enjoy their moment. It's that if a commission has a rule, it can't simply decide when that rule matters and when it doesn't.
And there are real reasons to take the danger seriously.
