RCC Fight Show winner Alexander Novikov turned the tide of the fight with Mikhail Tsapenko and took the victory by decision at RCC Intro 28
The RCC Intro 28 tournament continued with the winner of the RCC Fight Show Alexander Novikov and Mikhail Tsapenko. They had a three-round fight in the welterweight division (up to 77 kg).
In the first seconds of the fight, Novikov scored a takedown, but Tsapenko quickly rose to his feet. Novikov tried to control his opponent at a distance, hitting low kicks and front kicks. Tsapenko invested in single punches. The fighters took a low pace, Mikhail acted more actively, at the end of the five minutes he managed to knock his opponent to the ground and deliver several finishing blows, taking the round in his favor.
The beginning of the second round was again fought by Novikov, he again managed to score a takedown and secured himself on top of the net.
