In the biggest test of his fledgling career, rising heavyweight Gerald Washington took a step up to face rugged veteran Amir Mansour in a PBC on FS1 main event from Shelton, Wash.
Washington controlled the fight in the early rounds by making the best use out of his notable size advantage, using his jab and maintaining the fight from the outside. But Mansour stayed aggressive and in the middle rounds began to work his way inside, making the fight uncomfortable for the former USC defensive end. Washington rallied for a strong finish, and the fight ended with both fighters feeling as though they'd done enough to get the win. Neither left satisfied, as the fight was scored a Majority Draw.
