Video: Jon Jones returns to stage to celebrate after brawl with Daniel Cormier

LAS VEGAS – There were no official winners in Monday’s Jon Jones-Daniel Cormier impromptu brawl in Las Vegas. But it’s pretty clear Jones thinks he won.

After the two fighters were split apart and went their separate ways, Jones returned to the same stage he scuffled with Cormier on to celebrate in front of fans and media members in attendance at the press event for next month’s UFC 178 pay-per-view.

Things got heated when Jones and Cormier stood for a face-off for photographers. Jones butted heads with Cormier, and Cormier shoved him in response. That put Jones on the offensive, and he took a swing at the upcoming light heavyweight title challenger before the two fell from the stage in a heap as UFC public relations personnel and security members tried to break the two apart in the MBM Grand Hotel and Casino lobby.

Jones (20-1 MMA, 14-1 UFC) defends his 205-pound title against Cormier (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) on Sept. 27 at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
