Video: Australian fight fans steal the show at festive UFC 193 open workouts

MELBOURNE, Australia – The fighters were the star attractions at today’s UFC 193 open workouts, but Australian fight fans stole the show.

Ahead of Saturday’s pay-per-view event at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, the UFC hosted its usual pre-event open workouts. It’s an opportunity for media to snag interviews with the card’s top stars – including UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) and Holly Holm (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC), as well as strawweight titleholder Joanna Jedrzejczyk (10-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) and opponent Valerie Letourneau (8-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) – and a chance for fans to get up close and personal with the fighters.

But the Australian fans – boisterous and very welcoming – really made it a festive affair.
