Estevan Payan vs. Alex White

Round 1: Payan lands a left hand.  White answers with a kick to the body.  Payan delivers a kick to the body of his own.  White presses forward with a kick to the body.  White moves in and lands a right hand that drops Payan.  White finishes with a series a strikes with Payan trapped against the cage.  The referee stops the fight.

The official times of the technical knockout was 1:28 of the first round.

Alex White:

“I was pretty nervous with this being my first fight in the UFC. But once you get in there, you think ‘man, this is just like training’ and everything just starts kicking in. I was able to connect with some pretty good shots and that was it.

“I thought the stoppage was pretty fair. He was pretty defenseless, so I think the ref made the right call.”
