LAS VEGAS – She got her toughest test yet, went deeper into a fight than ever before, and she had to work for it. But Ronda Rousey again defended her belt and defeated Miesha Tate.
In the pay-per-view co-headliner of Saturday’s UFC 168 event at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, Rousey’s judo and submission skills were again on display. Tate escaped trouble on multiple occasions, but Rousey ultimately secured her trademark submission in the third round to retain the UFC women’s bantamweight title.
