According to salary information released by the Nevada Athletic Commission on Monday, “Cigano” pocketed $400,000 in dropping a five-round verdict to Cain Velasquez, who earned $200,000 for regaining the belt he lost to dos Santos at UFC on Fox 1 in November 2011.

Octagon debutante Derek Brunson ($30,000) kicked off the pay-per-view broadcast with a unanimous decision triumph against popular brawler Chris Leben ($51,000).
