UFC 132 Aftermath: Carlos Condit Believes He’s Next for GSP, but Will He Wait?

Making the move from the WEC to the UFC, Carlos Condit stumbled out of the gate, losing a split decision to Martin Kampmann. He hasn’t looked back.

Saturday night’s first-round “Knockout of the Night” performance against Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 132 continued his resurgence, notching his fourth consecutive victory in the Octagon. His final three wins have all come via knockout of TKO.

To say that Condit has arrived in the UFC would be an understatement. He served Kim the first loss of the South Korean’s career. It appears that Condit is on a direct course to a UFC welterweight title shot.

Check out what Condit had to say about his performance on Saturday night, and his ascent in the UFC’s welterweight division.
