Floyd Mayweather Jr. reportedly watched on FaceTime as a friend shot his wife, before turning the gun on himself and committing suicide.

In a report from TMZ on Monday, sources close to Mayweather said Earl Hayes called the undefeated boxer from his apartment in Los Angeles, furious about an argument he had been having with his wife, Stephanie Moseley. Hayes allegedly was upset with his wife about having an affair and, at some point during the conversation, told Mayweather he was planning on killing her.

It remains unclear how much Mayweather actually witnessed, but sources claim “Money” was pleading with Hayes to calm down. The report states that Mayweather is distraught over the situation.

Hayes was once signed to Mayweather’s record label, Philthy Rich Records. Moseley was a backup dancer and had a role on the VH1 reality series “Hit the Floor.”
