Reminder: 'Countdown to UFC 182: Jones vs. Cormier' debuts tonight on FOX Sports 1

As a reminder, the UFC’s traditional pre-event show returns tonight with the debut of “Countdown to UFC 182: Hendricks vs. Lawler 2? on FOX Sports 1.

The 30-minute special previews the card’s headlining bout between UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and challenger and bitter rival Daniel Cormier.

“Countdown” airs tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET, and replays will air throughout the week.

Jones and Cormier were expected to meet in September, but a Jones injury delayed the fight to UFC 182. In the promotional buildup, the two met at a media event in Las Vegas in August, and a scuffle ensued at which punches were thrown and the two fell off a stage. (See the video above.)

UFC 182 takes place Jan. 3, at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
