Resurrection Fighting Alliance on Friday made its first stop in Boise, Idaho, with RFA 27: Murphy vs. Brock at the CenturyLink Arena.
There were no title fights on tap, but several top prospects laid claim to top spots in the premier, if unofficial, UFC feeder league.
Jesse Brock may have got split open by a vicious elbow in his fight with Joe Murphy, but he took the unanimous decision, putting him on a five-fight winning streak and in the RFA bantamweight mix.
Flyweight hopefully Czar Sklavos, also made his mark, taking a dominating decision over Nick Burgos in the night’s co-main event.
But it was Scott Thometz that made the biggest impression of the night, using his punching power to take out Daniel Swain with a crushing right hand to the jaw.
