Incredibly, Uriah Hall‘s (9-4 MMA, 2-2 UFC) toe is almost back to 100 percent following a graphic injury sustained in his UFC 175 victory over Thiago Santos (9-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) earlier this month.

“The Ultimate Fighter 17? runner-up damaged his right long toe in the first round of the middleweight contest against Santos. While the cageside doctor was tempted to call off the bout on more than one occasion due to the injury, Hall battled through the pain and went on to earn a unanimous decision victory.

Nearly one month after his July 5th matchup, which went down from Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center, Hall’s toe is back in good shape, and he shared proof via his official Twitter and Instagram accounts.

After coming short of the six-figure UFC contract against Kelvin Gastelum in April 2013, Hall disappointed in his sophomore octagon appearance when he lost a split decision to John Howard.

Back-to-back losses raised questions about whether Hall could live up to the expectations place on him after “TUF,” but he has rebounded with two strong performances against Santos and Chris Leben.

With his toe healing at a healthy pace, it seems Hall could soon return to competition in search of his third consecutive win.
