Invicta FC 17 was quite the night of fights. Charmaine Tweet put Latoya Walker's lights out with a smooth spinning backfist. Angela Hill established herself as a top strawweight by taking Livia Renata Souza's title via split decision. And in the main event, Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger (17-6) turned a lot of heads.
She didn't turn heads with her actual fight, though. She turned heads when she planted a big kiss on the lips of Invicta ring announcer Laura Sanko. You can check out the moment here:

The headlining bout saw Evinger defend her title from Colleen Schneider with a solid, smothering performance where she managed to almost completely neutralize the former SFL champion. But while Evinger took the fight via lopsided unanimous decision (with the judges' cards reading 49-45, 50-44, 50-44), she thoroughly downplayed her success in the post-fight interview.
Then, oddly, she stated she "wanted to win moment of the year this year," turned to Sanko and kissed her. It was a strange sight all on its own, made stranger when one notes that Evinger vomited into her corner's ice bucket after the fifth round.
Sanko laughed it off immediately after and would return to the cage to give Evinger a hug. She talked about the kiss on Twitter after the event wrapped up:
@WMMANews I literally don't even know what to say lol!!!!!!!! That was hilarious

It's unlikely that Evinger will face any disciplinary action, with neither Invicta President Shannon Knapp nor matchmaker Julie Kedzie mentioning anything negative about it. Either way, kissing ring announcers has proven results to this point. Just look at Jon Jones!
