John Lineker vs. John Dodson Headlines UFC Fight Night 96
The little guys will be the biggest bout at UFC Portland.
John Lineker will face John Dodson at UFC Fight Night 96 on Oct. 1, officials announced on Saturday afternoon.
The flyweight fight will be the featured bout of the UFC’s return to Portland, Oregon, which will broadcast live on FOX Sports 1.

Lineker (28-7) is on a five-fight win streak that includes wins over Ian McCall and Rob Font. In his most recent outing, Lineker knocked out former No. 1 contender Michael McDonald in the first round of their bout from July.
Dodson (18-7) has only tasted defeat twice in the UFC, each loss coming to current champion Demetrious Johnson. In his last fight, Dodson took out Manny Gamburyan in just 47 seconds last April at UFC on FOX 19.
UFC Fight Night 96 also includes a lightweight bout between former Bellator 155-pound champ Will Brooks and Alex Oliveira.
