While much of the MMA world’s focus is on tonight’s UFC 170 pay-per-view event, two MMA notables have raised the stakes of tomorrow’s Olympic gold-medal hockey game.
Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, who’s supporting his fellow Canadians, and light-heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson, a proud Swede, have made a bet ahead of the highly anticipated match.
The game was set up after Canada defeated the U.S. and following Sweden’s victory over Finland in the semifinals. The final kicks off Sunday at 7 a.m. ET (4 a.m. ET).
St-Pierre issued the challenge after already defeating teammate/American John Cholish.
My friend John Cholish has to wear a Canadian hockey jersey because we beat the USA.. @AlexTheMauler – ready to make same bet for Sunday?—

Gustafsson, who headlines UFC Fight Night 37 on March 8 against Jimi Manuwa, quickly accepted.
@GeorgesStPierre done deal lets do it champ!—

In fact, the Swede has already picked out GSP’s jersey.
