Daniel Cormier doesn’t have any use for talk of dropping down to 205 pounds or any other weight class talk. He’s focused on what’s immediately in front of him, and that’s a fight with former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir at Saturday’s UFC on Fox 7.

And Frank Mir is one subject that Cormier has a lot to say about.

Cormier met with the media on Thursday to talk about his upcoming fight with Mir, his dislike for Mir’s condescending trash talk, as well as his feelings ahead of his UFC debut and the always looming question of if, and when he’ll face teammate Cain Velasquez.
