Curtis Blaydes in for Bojan Mihajlovic against Francis Ngannou at UFC Fight Night 86

Francis Ngannou has a new opponent for UFC Fight Night 86. Ngannou will now face Curtis Blaydes after Bojan Mihajlovic was forced out of the bout.

The change was announced on the UFC France Twitter account, no reason was given for Mihajlovic’s withdrawl from the event, which takes place April 10 at Zagreb Arena in Zagreb, Croatia. It airs on FOX Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

Ngannou (6-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) picked up a win in his UFC debut at UFC on FOX 17, landing a massive uppercut to the chin of Luis Henrique to have his hand raised. Despite the impressive debut, Ngannou acted as though landing the knockout blow was no big deal in his world. He has stopped every opponent he has faced in his professional career.

Blaydes (5-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will be making his octagon debut at the event. He has stopped all five of his professional opponents by TKO, including a stoppage of Luis Cortez in his most recent bout at RFA 34.
