Is Cris Cyborg a master troll, or did Ronda Rousey bring this on herself?
Reasonable people can debate, but there can be no disagreement on one key point: Cyborg just got off a sick burn.
Earlier this week, TMZ captured video of Rousey and some teammates jogging and practicing their striking moves on Venice Beach, and some members of the MMA community were less than impressed.
Count Cyborg among that contingent. In an interview with The Cruz Show in Los Angeles (h/t MMA Mania), Invicta's featherweight champ (real name: Cristiane Justino) weighed in on the spectacle.
"I watched her last training," Cyborg said. "She was doing shadowboxing on the beach and her shadow won."
Oof. That's nasty.
Cyborg (15-1-1) also said she still wants to fight Rousey, the UFC's recently dethroned women's bantamweight champ.
"Ronda always runs from me," she said of Rousey.
Cyborg is scheduled to make her UFC debut May 14 at UFC 198 against Leslie Smith at a catchweight bout at 140 pounds.
