Conor McGregor: Taking Next Fight at Lightweight is ‘Almost Set in Stone’


Prior to ever setting foot in the Octagon, Conor McGregor was a two-weight class champion in the Cage Warriors fight promotion. That’s a feat that he wants to replicate in the UFC.

Conor McGregor - Donald Cerrone - Chad MendesMcGregor believes that if everything goes according to plan that it is “almost set in stone” that he will knock out Jose Aldo for the featherweight title and then fight the winner of Rafael dos Anjos vs. Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone for the lightweight belt in his next fight.
