Steve Bosse‘s UFC debut will have to wait, as an injured shoulder has forced him out of next month’s TUF Nations Finale.

MMAjunkie today learned from sources close to the fighter that Bosse (10-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has been forced to withdraw from the contest and that UFC officials will seek a new opponent for Ryan Jimmo (18-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC).

The event, which serves as the live finale for “The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs. Australia” reality series, takes place April 16 at Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It’s expected to air on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

Bosse, a 32-year-old French-Canadian, made his pro MMA debut in 2007, and since then he’s racked up a 10-1 record with eight knockouts. Fighting solely on the Canadian regional circuit, the Brazilian Top Team Canada and Tristar Gym fighter has posted wins over the likes of Wes Sims (submission), Marvin Eastman (decision) and Houston Alexander (knockout).

A timetable for his return wasn’t immediately available.

Jimmo, meanwhile, looks to rebound from a TKO loss (due to a leg injury) to Jimi Manuwa at UFC Fight Night 30, which moved his overall UFC record to .500. Prior to the setback, the 32-year-old Canadian was on an 18-1 run that included UFC wins over Anthony Perosh (knockout) and Igor Pokrajac (decision).
