Pettis, though, fired back with a cereal box of his own (via Twitter):
Despite the obvious marketability of a rematch, dos Anjos and Pettis have other upcoming challenges.
Dos Anjos (24-7 MMA, 13-5 UFC), who’s ranked No. 1 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA lightweight rankings, looks for his first title defense when he meets No. 4-ranked Donald Cerrone (28-6 MMA, 15-3 UFC) in UFC on FOX 17’s headliner on Dec. 19. No. 3-ranked Pettis (18-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC), meanwhile, is expected to fight No. 6-ranked Eddie Alvarez (26-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 81 on Jan. 17.
