The UFC typically hosts a big pay-per-view card the same weekend as the Super Bowl, but 2017 is apparently going to be a year of changes.
The promotion announced on Sunday via Twitter that they will host a card on Saturday Feb. 4 at the Toyota Center in Houston. Officials have confirmed the card will be a UFC Fight Night broadcast on FOX Sports 1.
No fights have been announced for the upcoming card, but they are expected to be revealed over the next couple of months.
The UFC last came to Houston in October of 2015 with UFC 192, a PPV headlined by light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier successfully defending his title against top contender Alexander Gustafsson.
