UFC on FOX 19: Glover Teixeira vs. Rashad Evans video highlights

Glover Teixeira had no issues with being a replacement opponent for Rashad Evans, or the fact that the fight was promoted from a three round co-headliner to a five round main event slot because he knocked out the former UFC champion in less than two minutes.

The light heavyweight bout was the main event of today’s UFC on FOX 19 event at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. It aired on FOX following prelims on FOX and UFC Fight Pass.

Teixeira (25-4 MMA, 8-2 UFC) landed a crushing right hook that spelled the end for Evans (19-5-1 MMA, 14-5-1 UFC). After the big shot connected, Evans slumped to the canvas and the bout was called to a halt at the 1:48 mark of Round 1.
