Video: Watch Conor McGregor's fans celebrate his UFC 178 win over Poirier

LAS VEGAS – Conor McGregor had a big task on his hands at UFC 178, and that was to back up the hype surrounding him.

He appears to have done that with a first-round TKO finish of Dustin Poirier.

McGregor brought with him hundreds of fans from Ireland, who were present in a big way at Friday’s weigh-ins. Those same fans were out in abundance at the fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and after McGregor’s win, they took to the concourse to celebrate.

McGregor’s fans chanting and dance with the Irish tri-color flag, even as the UFC 178 co-main event fight was walking to the cage.
