The first two meetings between heavyweight kingpins Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos couldn’t have been more different. Now, ahead of next week’s trilogy fight between the division’s top two fighters, watch both bouts in their entirety.
Velasquez (12-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC), the UFC’s reigning heavyweight champion and, and dos Santos (16-2 MMA, 10-1 UFC), the former titleholder, meet Oct. 19 at Houston’s Toyota Center. Their pay-per-view headliner is one of the biggest bouts in MMA history.
Check out the first meeting, which kicked off the UFC’s new deal with FOX in 2011, as well as the duo’s second meeting, in which the UFC’s 2012 calendar concluded with a one-sided drubbing.
