Means, 28, performed impressively in his last outing, stopping Justin Salas with strikes in just 66 seconds at UFC on FX 3. The June 8 victory marked the ninth consecutive win for “The Dirty Bird,” who is now 2-0 in his Octagon career. Standing 6-feet-2, Means owns 13 of his 18 career victories by way of knockout and has gone to a judges' decision just twice in his eight years as a pro.
Also 28, Trujillo joins the UFC riding a four-fight winning streak. Fighting out of Des Moines, Iowa, Trujillo last competed on June 30, taking a unanimous decision from former Bellator talent Frank Carrillo. The lightweight has already competed three times in 2012, topping Ken Jackson in January and James Edson Berto in April before outpointing Carrillo.
