All eyes are on the White House right now. It is a place used to being the center of attention, of course, but the reason for its current moment in the spotlight is very different. That’s because it is in preparation for one of MMA’s biggest-ever events. A cage-fighting arena is being assembled on the South Lawn in readiness for UFC Freedom 250.
The event is being held at the White House to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Some of the top UFC fighters will be battling it out, with two titles on the line, at what is surely the sport’s highest-profile event in history.
Fans old and new will be checking out the latest UFC betting guides to get ready for what is sure to be a memorable occasion. But there is a lot more to look forward to in the world of UFC and MMA in the months to come. UFC is arguably the biggest fighting organization in the world right now, and here are some other events fans will be eagerly anticipating this summer.
Fight Nights in June
It is understandable that UC Freedom 250 is hogging the headlines right now, but the June fight nights won’t stop once the White House extravaganza is over. Next up after that is a return to the spiritual home of UFC, with a Fight Night at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As usual, there is a host of top bouts to look forward to, but the headline event is a flyweight rematch between Manel Kape and Kyogi Horiguchi. Kape is a former Rizin bantamweight champ who has won his last three UFC fights and will be hoping that another victory will strengthen his case for a title challenge against current UFC flyweight belt holder Joshua Tan. Horiguchi is ranked fifth in that weight division, though, and hasn’t lost a fight since 2022.
After that, UFC travels to Baku, in only the organization’s second-ever trip to Azerbaijan. This time, the main event will be a lightweight contest between hometown favorite Rafael Fiziev and Manuel Torres from Mexico.
The Return of the Notorious One
As intriguing as those Fight Nights in June are, the next really big event will be UFC 329, and the return of one of the most famous MMA fighters of all time. It is five years since Conor McGregor was last seen in the octagon, nursing a broken leg after losing to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
Other big names, like Paddy Pimblett and Benoit Saint Denis, will be appearing at the event in Las Vegas, but it is Conor McGregor’s return that has everyone talking. The Irishman is a former champion and was the first ever to hold two titles at the same time. Those were the featherweight and lightweight belts, but this will be a welterweight contest against Max Holloway, who will also be fighting in that division for the first time.
As well as being the biggest pay-per-view draw in UFC history, McGregor boasts a 22-6 record, even though he lost his last two fights to Poirier. It will be interesting to see if Notorious still has what it takes, up against Holloway, who will still be seething about his defeat to Charles Oliveira in March of this year.
Fight Nights in July
There are two other Fight Nights before the end of July, with Oklahoma City and Abu Dhabi hosting the events. OKC will enjoy an evening headlined by a middleweight bout between former champion Dricus du Plessis and former welterweight belt holder Kamaru Usman.
Abu Dhabi will see Magomed Ankalaev return to the octagon for the first time since losing his light heavyweight title to Alex Pereira in 2025. That was only his second defeat ever, and he is still the number one ranked contender in the division. His opponent will be American fighter, Khali Rountree Jr.
Serbian Fight Night
It is always good when UFC Fight Nights travel the globe, as it means that we get to see some up-and-coming fighters from other nations in action. The first big event in August sees UFC return to Belgrade, Serbia, with a whole host of local fighters on the card.
The headline bout is a welterweight contest between a Serbian, Uroš Medić and an American, Daniel Rodriguez. Both fighters find themselves a little bit further down the rankings than some of the more high-profile fighters, so a win here could do their future hopes of a title fight the world of good.

UFC 330
Details of UFC 330 are hard to come by at the current time, but we do know that it will be the promotion’s fourth visit to Philadelphia, and the first time the City of Brotherly Love has hosted a numbered event since 2011. The Xfinity Mobile Arena, home of the city’s Flyers and 76ers, will be the place to be.
The only bout scheduled at the current time is a women’s strawweight championship meeting between current champion MacKenzie Dem and challenger Gillian Robertson. More fight details will be released in due time, but UFC fans now have a whole summer’s worth of high-octane fight action to look forward to. The venues are spread across the globe, as MMA continues to prove its worldwide appeal.
