Akhlidin Sultonov and Iskandar Aliev continued the tournament "Path to RCC Boxing". Two undefeated prospects had a four-round fight in the lightweight (up to 61.2 kg).
From the first round, the boxers began to converge in exchanges at medium and close range, exchanging side and uppercuts, showing good speed. The first half was quite close, each had good moments in the attack and delivered series, including to the body.
The second half of the fight was dynamic. Sultonov still tried to act as the first number, attacked with longer and more accurate series, while Akhlidin's blows were harder than Aliev's blows. Iskandar responded, but not as actively as in the first half of the fight. Sultonov managed to maintain the pace and accuracy of his attacks until the last round and naturally took the victory by decision of the judges.
