Tony Ferguson vs Bobby Green UFC 291 Salt Lake City Utah Fight Video Full HD Free Stream Replay Part A

Tony Ferguson, an eccentric lightweight, and Bobby Green, who has also struggled to find recent victories, square off in a clash of OGs.

Despite the vets' recent issues, there is still a lot of interest in this UFC 291 main-card match between two divisional favorites.

Let's dissect it to see if this featured conflict has a betting angle.

Ferguson is a well-known and uncommon exception to the UFC's rule that it is uncommon to keep someone around after five straight losses( three by finish).

El Cucuy will attempt to reclaim the victory column on Saturday against fellow fan favorite "King" Green, a shorter boxer who will need to work his way into the pocket to release his grip.

Ferguson, 39 years old, appears to be completely shot athletically at this point in his career.

In his interim title fight with Justin Gaethje, he took a beating that changed his life. He then forced Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush to use his arm and leg in compromising positions( without tapping), ate an incredible front kick from Michael Chandler, and then submitted to Nate Diaz.

Ferguson is currently lowering his weight to 155 pounds, where he should be even less durable, compared to the Diaz fight's 170 pounds.

In this matchup, Green's athletic advantages and speed differential could be crucial. Additionally, as I previously stated, Green must move into Ferguson's line of fire in order to box him up, allowing us to witness a phone booth brawl in which Green significantly outperforms Ferguson in terms of speed and striking defense( using his shoulder roll technique).

Green can overwhelm opponents with an accumulation of strikes even though he doesn't load up or carry power in any one punch.

This matchup is comparable to Green's UFC 268, which featured a past-his-prime Al Iaquinta and gave him the fastest win of his entire career. Iaquinta appeared to be stuck in the muck, so Green quickly removed him. Given how Ferguson appeared in his most recent fight, I believe the same thing could happen to him on Saturday.

However, Green, who is 36 and suffered a poor KO loss to Drew Dober in December, will need to put himself in danger and arrange some high-variance exchanges if he wants to get the Boogeyman out of there.

Ferguson made clean shots against Diaz and Chandler, and despite the fact that his athleticism appears to have fallen off a cliff, his offensive striking still has some power.
