Kevin Holland vs Santiago Ponzinibbio UFC 287 Miami Fight Video Full HD Free Stream Replay Part A

When Kevin Holland takes on Santiago Ponzinibbio on the UFC 287 main card, two welterweights in need of a signature victory will have that opportunity.

Ponzinibbio recently scored a come-from-behind win to avoid his own three-fight slide, and Holland is currently on two fight skid.

However, both vets have been competing against elite opponents in recent years.

On Saturday, who has the advantage? Let's's dissect it.

As an underdog, Holland is a relatively simple fighter to bet on, but as an favorite, he is almost impossible to trust. He is unlikely to adhere to a strategy that will increase his chances of winning. Holland, on the other hand, prefers to perform, which is emphasized on a PPV card in front of the audience.

In his most recent matchup with Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson, Holland had several chances to get top time, but he decided to let up the kickboxer to calm the crowd.

It's's simple to forget, but prior to the Thompson fight, after his quick loss to Khamzat Chimaev, he even declared that "retiring" from MMA. Holland is a peculiar duck.

He has the freakiest length for the welterweight division, but he is a fantastic athlete. At middleweight, Holland had a size advantage over the majority of his rivals, but at 170 pounds, the difference is even more pronounced. Holland has an eight-inch reach advantage over Ponzinibbio and is three inches taller.

Alex Morono most recently outclassed "The Argentine Dagger" for two rounds before landing a third-round kill shot to change the outcome. After his knockout loss to Li Jingliang, Pontinibbio suffered heavy losses in recent wars with Michel Pereira, Geoff Neal, and Miguel Baeza. He was hurt multiple times in that fight by an opponent with relatively little power for the division.

Since lowering from 185, wobbling, or taking out three of his four welterweight opponents, Holland's's power has translated exceptionally well. Given the reach advantage, he should be able to connect on Ponzinibbio frequently. He is also one of the most accurate distance strikers in UFC history.

By combining takedowns, fighters can typically defeat Holland, but Ponzinibbio isn't much of a wrestler, and his takesdown defense has also worked better in the lighter-weight division. Holland is the better grappler, and when he wobbles Ponzinibbio and grabs someone's's neck for a choke, the match appears to be as real as it is.
