Conor McGregor makes his acting debut in a new remake of the 1989 movie Road House.
He will play an original character in the film and not himself, but Jake Gyllenhaal who his co sar,
and interestingly Jake will play a former UFC fighter who is now a bouncer.
Filming for the movie will begin later this month in the Dominican Republic.
Doug Liman is the director, he has director Singers, The Bourne Identity, and American Made.
In 2015 Ronda Rousey was supposed to be in a remake of this movie but it was scrapped and was never made.
Conor McGregor lost 2 times to Dustin Poirier last year, in the 2nd one he broke his leg and has been rehabbing that since.
Currently McGregor sits at #12 in the lightweight rankings.
