Malik Scott defeated Tony Thomson in a PBC on Bounce heavyweight matchup on October 30, 2015.
Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder was in the house and watching the fight ringside and cheering on Malik Scott who was the slicker fighter throughout, surviving a ninth-round knockdown to earn a unanimous decision over the 44-year-old Thompson (40-6, 27 KOs).
Scott looked like the stronger fighter throughout the fight, but towards the end of the fight, Thomson fought back to make the match interesting by scoring a knockdown.
The fall didn't phase Scott, as he finished the fight and ended up taking the majority decision.
