Video: NHL's New Jersey Devils meet UFC's CM Punk, Jessica Eye and Forrest Griffin

NEWARK, N.J. – Some New Jersey Devils joined forces with a handful of UFC regulars on Tuesday, and we were there to capture it.

The NHL team, along with strength and conditioning coach Joe Lorincz, wanted to showcase some of the Devils’ advances in making healthier and stronger athletes.

UFC women’s bantamweight Jessica Eye, newcomer Phil “CM Punk” Brooks and UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin were among the fighters in attendance. They shared training and ice time with the team, which plays at Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center, which also hosts Saturday’s UFC on FOX 18 event.
