Video: Hardy, Gooden break down UFC 204's Vitor Belfort vs. Gegard Mousasi co-main event

On Saturday, two veteran middleweights and former champions square off in the UFC 204 co-main event.

Vitor Belfort (25-12 MMA, 14-8 UFC) meets Gegard Mousasi (39-6-2 MMA, 6-3 UFC) in the UFC 204 co-feature. Belfort currently is No. 6 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA middleweight rankings; Mousasi is No. 9.

Belfort, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, has dropped two of his past three fights, including a title fight loss to then-champion Chris Weidman at UFC 187. Mousasi, a former Strikeforce and DREAM champion, has won four of his past five fights.

Ahead of the fight, UFC Fight Pass analyst Dan Hardy and broadcast partner John Gooden break down the matchup as part of the UFC’s “Inside the Octagon” preview series.

UFC 204 takes place Saturday at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
