Invicta FC will apparently hold its seventh event before year’s end.
Officials today announced that Invicta FC 7 is now slated for December, though an exact date and other details weren’t announced.
However, those particulars will be “coming soon,” according to the all-female promotion’s official Twitter account.
Since its launch in April 2012, Invicta FC has hosted a show every three months. However, the most recent event, “Invicta FC 6: Cyborg vs. Coenen 2,” took place July 13, which would result in a five-month span before Invita FC 7.
The organization, which streams its events via online pay-per-view, has become the primary promoter of women’s MMA. With the UFC focusing solely on the 135-pound bantamweight division and with other organizations such as Bellator MMA closing its female weight classes, Invicta FC now boasts much of the world’s top female talent.
The organization, which has hosted all of its shows in Missouri and Kansas, has recently crowned champions such as Michelle Waterson, Carla Esparza, Barb Honchak and Cristiane Justino.
From a scheduling standpoint, most of the organization’s top stars should be ready to fight by December’s show.
