'UFC 205 Embedded,' No. 6: 'Look at your face. You're the most beat-up guy there is'

The big week is finally here. The UFC heads to New York City for the first time for UFC 205, and the promotion has rolled out the “Embedded” treatment for a preview of tonight’s pay-per-view event at Madison Square Garden.

There’s a trio of title fights at the top of the five-fight main card. But most of the eyes are on the headliners. Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez (28-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) puts his belt on the line against featherweight champ Conor McGregor (20-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC), who attempts to become the first fighter in UFC history to simultaneously hold two belts.

In the co-feature, welterweight champ Tyron Woodley (16-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) looks for his first title defense when he meets Stephen Thompson (13-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC). And women’s strawweight titleholder Joanna Jedrzejczyk (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) looks to defend her title for a fourth time when she meets fellow Polish fighter Karolina Kowalkiewicz (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC).

In the sixth episode, fight night quickly approaches as McGregor and Alvarez continue trading insults. Additionally, Jedrzejczyk blows off some steam with teammates, including ex-champ Robbie Lawler, and the fighters hit the scale for jam-packed ceremonial weigh-ins.
