Bellator NYC and Bellator 180 reactions: Winning and losing fighters on social media

Since the early days when the sport was anything but a mainstream endeavor, the MMA industry has thrived and survived through various websites, forums and, perhaps most importantly, social-media platforms.

Fighters interact with fans, each other and many more through the likes of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, which helps outsiders get a deeper look into the minds of the athletes.

Following Saturday’s Bellator NYC and Bellator 180 events in New York, several of the winning and losing fighters, along with their coaches, training partners or family members, took to social media to react to the event or share a message with supporters.

I wish Chandler a fast recovery and hope he's ok. I've looked up to @mikechandlermma and respect him more than I can put into words. I know we're going to throw down again and I can't wait. Fighting him and fighting at Madison square garden was a dream come true. Chandler is a champion in the cage and out of the cage. It's been a crazy camp full of injuries and set backs but that's how this fight game goes. Thank you god for this life and everything you've given me, thank you to my family and friends for all the support and my beautiful pregnant wife. I can't wait to have our baby and be a dad and have our own little family.
