Ronda Rousey returns to the octagon for the first time since losing the title when she faces Amanda Nunes at UFC 207. But the women’s bantamweight superstar previously made it clear she sees the end of her in-cage career fast approaching.
Rousey (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) battles reigning champ Nunes (13-4 MMA, 6-1 UFC) in UFC 207’s headliner, which takes place Dec. 30 (a Friday) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
So, will UFC 207 be the final time fans see Rousey fight in the cage?
MMAjunkie caught up with several members of the UFC roster and asked just that question.
Opinions ranged from near certainty Rousey will step away, win or lose, to some feelings that a fighter with her drive can’t truly stay away from the cage.
