UFC 206 extended preview: Champ 'DC' or challenger 'Rumble' in the rematch?

Two of the best 205-pound fighters in the world are soon going to clash in a UFC main event – again.

Next month at UFC 206, Daniel Cormier (17-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC) puts the 205-pound title up for grabs against Anthony Johnson (22-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) in the Dec. 10 pay-per-view headliner at Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

“DC” has already defeated “Rumble” once before – via third-round submission at UFC 187 in May 2015 to capture the then-vacant title.

Cormier, who’s No. 2 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA light-heavyweight rankings, is currently a small favorite over No. 3-ranked Johnson. The bout initially opened as a pick’em.
