UFC Fight Night 99 ceremonial weigh-in photos with a near scuffle in Belfast

BELFAST, Northern Ireland – With one notable exception, the fighters for Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 99 card did their dog-and-pony show for the fans at the ceremonial weigh-ins today.

With the officials weigh-ins already wrapped earlier in the day in Northern Ireland, the fighters stepped on the scale at the ceremonial weigh-ins at SSE Arena in Belfast for the fans – and to face off with their opponents. Only Neil Seery and Ian McCall were absent. McCall fell ill today and had to be pulled from the card.

But the rest of the fighters did their thing – and there were a few tense moments, including one between lightweights Kevin Lee and Magomed Mustafaev, who had to be restrained by UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby and UFC security.

UFC Fight Night 99 takes place Saturday at SSE Arena Belfast in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The entire event streams on UFC Fight Pass.
