CES MMA 39 highlights: A big overhand right! Toehold! A liver-kick KO!

If you like variety with your finishes, Friday’s CES MMA 39 card likely had something for your tastes.

The event aired on AXS TV from Plymouth Memorial Hall in Plymouth, Mass., and in the headliner, Wilfredo Santiago Jr. (7-3) scored a highlight-reel overhand hand on middleweight Chuck O'Neil (17-9) to earn a 41-second knockout win.

In the co-headliner, featherweight Manny Bermudez (8-0) picked up questionable split-decision win over Saul Almeida (18-8).

Elsewhere on the card, Peter Barrett (7-0) defeated Jeremy Davis (3-1) after connecting on a beautiful second-round liver kick to get the win in the 150-pound catchweight fight.

Additionally, Kevin Haley (6-3) tapped middleweight Mike Rodriguez (5-2) with a quick toehold win, and welterweight Micah Terrill pounded out Bobby Flynn in just 70 seconds.
