Still buzzing a little over Saturday night’s main event at UFC 196?

Now you can relive some of the best moments between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor through the lens of Rey Del Rio from Getty Images.

In the UFC 196 headliner, Diaz (19-10 MMA, 14-8 UFC) pulled a big upset when he forced McGregor (19-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) to tap out from a rear-naked choke in the second round. McGregor had been as much as a 5-1 favorite in the fight, and Diaz took the bout on less than two weeks’ notice.

McGregor, the UFC’s featherweight champion, was supposed to fight lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos to go after a second concurrent belt. But when dos Anjos broke his foot, the UFC tapped Diaz to step in to fight McGregor – but in a welterweight bout.

After the two lit each other up on the feet for a bit, Diaz hurt McGregor enough that the Irishman dropped for a takedown, no doubt hoping to avoid further punishment in the standup game. That proved to be a mistake when Diaz took his back and choked him out.

UFC 196 took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Above, check out the photo gallery from the fight, which earned Diaz a pair of $50,000 bonuses for “Fight of the Night” and “Performance of the Night” to go along with a disclosed $500,000 payday. McGregor became the first UFC fighter to earn a disclosed $1 million payday in the loss.
