UFC Fight Night 79 weigh-in highlight: Why did Benson Henderson need a towel?

SEOUL – Former UFC and WEC lightweight champion Benson Henderson often needed to use a towel to make weight in his title fights, valuing every last available ounce during his time on the scale. But why did he need one today, just to hit the welterweight limit?

Henderson (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC) and fellow former lightweight Jorge Masvidal (29-9 MMA, 6-2 UFC) each registered 170 pounds at today’s official weigh-in ceremony, which took place at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, the same site that hosts Saturday’s UFC Fight Pass-streamed card.

Check out the highlights from Friday’s weigh-ins as the two headliners hit the scale. Then don’t miss Saturday’s card, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 5 a.m. ET.
